Vocational Education
WHAT IS VOCATIONAL EDUCATION?
Vocational education is sometimes called lifelong learning because learning can happen at any stage in life from elementary to post secondary. Vocational education is defined as “developing craftsmanship’s, practical experience and practical problem-solving”[1] for the student. In vocational schools, students gain hands-on practical learning about a specific trade or skill. [1] Education International,2009,.Literature Review: Vocational Education and Training .P.5 |

This video talks about the relevance and importance of Vocational Education
Vocational Education allows students to gain practical skills and knowledge after graduation. Students can explore various skills and find out where their talents are and how they are best suited for an occupation. In Canada, students are graduating with academic and theoretical knowledge but they are not trained in any skill. Therefore, university graduates are having a hard time finding a job after graduation. Vocational Education provides students with practical knowledge and skills that can be applied directly to the workplace.
